Reconsillyation - Exclusive Concert Event

Residential Schools and the discovery of 215 unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Residential School in 2021 has turned this country’s journey and relationship with its indigenous peoples on a new path. This is what we call truth and reconciliation. ‘It ain’t reconciliation if it feels good’ one saying goes. This show is a step towards reconciling our past with the present, and where we’re going, collectively.

What better way to do it than with some good ‘ol humour, a cornerstone of indigenous culture.

A night of humour for a dark topic, with an aim to help the local community. As such, a portion of the proceeds will go to ‘Circle of Wisdom’ Elders/Seniors Society, which helps indigenous communities, children and youth, Vets, and women through various supports and resources. *Organization subject to change*

‘Reconsillyation’ will feature a diverse line up – men, women, people of different origins, different stories, topped with an indigenous headliner closing the show. What says Canada and Reconsillyation more than that?
